GTUDE

GTUDE was a site-specific durational performance where I investigated desire and secrecy in the work of the twentieth century legend Gertrude Stein at the oldest gay bookstore (Toronto, Canada). GTUDE was a 4-hr exploration of body-object interaction, including reading aloud to audience members from Stein’s book,  “The Autobiography of Alice B Toklas”, painting with whiskey and creating tableaus throughout the space.

GTUDE took place in Glad Day bookshop the oldest LGBTQIA2S+ bookstore in North America during the World Pride celebrations, 2014
